As a membership-based not for profit organisation, it operates as the official Convention Bureau for the region. The team is your essential first point of contact when organising a business event of any kind in the Whitsundays. Offering event planners centralised free advice and a range of specialised services from itinerary preparation to assistance with venue recommendation and the preparation of proposals. The Whitsunday Coast and Islands are the ideal Australian event destination located centrally on the Queensland coast, in the heart of Australias Great Barrier Reef. With its tropical climate, easy access, and variety of activities the Whitsundays is one of Australias most enticing destinations for business and leisure. The region boasts 74 islands, and two internationally renowned natural icons Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach. The 74 Islands of the Whitsundays form the largest offshore island chain on Queenslands coastline. Featuring two domestic airports with direct flight access from most Australian cities ensuring the region is easily accessible and event time is maximised.
