Voyages Cradle Mountain Lodge – your base camp
Voyages Cradle Mountain Lodge is a warm rustic haven nestled on the edge of World Heritage listed Tasmanian wilderness. A place renowned for its stunning natural beauty, it offers conference delegates a host of challenging and rewarding experiences. The Lodge is well equipped to manage small conferences, training sessions, management retreats and corporate meetings.
Here you see the face of creation all around you in the mirror lakes and rugged mountain peaks. And you don't need to be an environmentalist to feel humble in the towering presence of a King Billy Pine - over 1,000 years old yet still a relative newcomer to these ancient forests.
This is a superb escape with breathtaking scenery, cosy cabins, magnificent meals and days filled with simple pleasures. The Lodge has three meeting rooms and delegates can participate in a range of enjoyable indoor and outdoor activities including spa treatments at the Weldheim Apline Spa, a range of walks suitable to your guests fitness levels so all enjoy the unique wilderness experience, fly fishing, orienteering, night spotlight tours, wine & cheese presentations and cooking classes.
The Lodge itself has an ambience of warmth and security that welcomes you to every room. Perhaps it's the glow of the open fires that keeps drawing you back or those quiet moments in the Guest's Lounge, catching up on local lore and history. Then of course there's the temptation of the Highland Restaurant and its walk-in Wine Cellar. Or perhaps the mood calls for a less formal meal in the Tavern Bar, a great place to share your adventures with new friends.
The environment, historical events and wonderful local produce provide inspiration for our themed events...treat your team to a night in the galley of a convict or enjoy a banquet of fresh Tasmanian fare.
Accommodation
86 cabins – 4 accommodation grades; Pencil Pine Cabins, Spa Cabins, Spa Suites and King Billy Suites. Accommodation includes full breakfast daily. Your private timber cabin is set discreetly in the wilderness and each cabin offers soothing natural views whether it be of the Lodge Lake, the Pencil Pine River or into the surrounding native myrtle forrests. Some cabins have log fires - one of their many appealing aspects - you'll find each one inviting, comfortable and rich with mountain character.
